Christina Smith is a board certified family nurse practitioner and diabetes educator. Smith attended the University of New Mexico, where she obtained her Associate of Nursing degree and Bachelor of Nursing degree. Later, Smith went on to receive her Masters of Nurse Practitioner from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, NC. “I joined the medical center for the quality of family practice here,” she says. Smith is glad to be closer to home. A Seymour resident, Smith enjoys hiking, exercising, fishing, and shopping when away from work.

Leigh Ayn Kennard is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who received her B.S. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her MSN from The University of Tennessee Knoxville. She has worked with UT Medical Center in some capacity since 2008. Lynn has extensive experience in both acute and chronic family medicine. Since 2011 she has also worked with University Palliative Care, specializing in caring for patients with life threatening illnesses.
